To me, dreams are goals. They're not far-flung fantasies or distant fairy tales I know won't come true - they're things I plan on doing. In my mind, a bucket list isn't just a list of things I'd like to do before I die; it's a list of things I plan to do before I die.

My Bucket List
1. Become a bestselling novelist.
2. Meet my German pen pal, Kira.
3. Spend a night on the beach under the stars.
4. Visit the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
5. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
6. Be a foster parent, or adopt a child.
7. Visit the site of Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp in Poland to honor the victims and the survivors of it.
8. Fall in love with someone who loves me back.
9. Meet someone who inspires me.
10. See the Holocaust Museum Houston's Butterfly Project exhibit in person.
11. See Regina Spektor perform live in concert!
12. Drop a wreath above the wreck of the Titanic on April 15th.
13. Write and inspiring message and leave it somewhere unexpected for a random stranger to find. Completed December 2011!
14. See the New England Holocaust Memorial in Boston at night.
15. Take a pure white room and some art supplies and just go crazy with it.
